From practical experience to practical software

 

After years of working in the international floriculture sector—at growers, auctions, and traders—I was constantly struck by how far the industry lagged behind in user-friendly software, especially compared to other sectors. Back then, I developed a desire to develop truly modern software for floriculture, though I had no idea what that would be, or for whom exactly.

 

When I started working with florists as a freelancer at Plantion, I realized they didn't have any good digital tools at their disposal. That rekindled my old idea: now I knew who I wanted to build something for. So, together with Plantion, I started a brainstorming group with several florists. It turned out that florists were struggling most with managing their margins: knowing exactly what something costs, setting accurate sales prices, and maintaining an overview of the bigger picture. At that moment, I knew exactly what I needed to build.

 

After extensive testing in 2024, Floral Profit is now the ultimate tool for every florist looking to improve their margins. Simple, practical, and ready to use.
